What renewable fuel means at Cape Cod Biofuels
Renewable fuel is energy made from resources that can be replenished, rather than crude oil pumped from the ground. Our renewable fuel is biodiesel, made from used cooking oil we collect from more than 1,000 Cape Cod restaurants and refine into clean fuel at our Sandwich plant.
It is a true closed loop. The same oil that fries your fisherman's platter can heat your neighbor's home and power the boat that brings in the next catch. Because we are the only ASTM-certified biodiesel producer in Massachusetts, every gallon meets strict quality standards and drops right into your existing equipment.
